Semester Theme

Hello all! I'm back in sunny Southern Cali, up for a second semester at Calvary Chapel Bible College. Things have kicked off very well. Awesome classes, seeing old friends again, making a slew of new friends, getting to grow and live with five new wonderful women of the Lord, worship, being blessed with three meals a day, the beautiful campus I missed so much - all for more growth in growing closer to God and in learning to love the body as much as myself.

Last semester, our theme for the entire school was from Ezekiel 36:26 - about Christ being our life, found in His blood, and how we as believers are to understand that God will work to take out our fleshly hearts and replace them with a heart of Spirit. This semester, our theme is from John 16:30 - where Jesus at his final moment of death, gave up his spirit, saying, "It is finished!" Just meditating on how much God has perfected us already by His precious sacrifice and how He is continually cheering His creatures on, to finish the good race set before us, gives me great hope this semester. That's it's going to be amazing :) I encourage everyone this season to continue steadfast in the faith and not waver. Christ will use you to finish the good work in you!
